NEW BEGINNINGS🥰

Updated: Sep 19, 2020

It's not always easy starting over...

In fact, this is probably the hardest step in the process. However, in hindsight it is often exactly what was needed and more rewarding than we're able to see in the moment. Sometimes the things that we're holding unto, is the very thing that we need to let go of in order to reach the desired point in our lives. This is where the challenge lies...trusting in the unknown!

Letting go requires a level of trust and belief, in other words it requires FAITH. We need to trust that what we're heading towards is better than what we're letting go of. Once we get to that point, everything after that comes with a bit of ease. Yet, obstacles will appear that may cause our faith to waver...so we must choose to trust the process and if you're a believer like I am that means trusting the source (God).

I love new beginnings and each new month or year always feels like a new day, a fresh start, a chance to do better or an opportunity to try harder. I usually wait for the beginning of a month/year to start a new diet or exercise routine and to set new goals etc. using the ending of the previous month/year as a time for reflection and introspection, a time where I re-evaluate some of my life choices and devise a plan of action as an attempt to rectify them by becoming a better version of myself.

All in all new beginnings can be terrifying when considering what we're leaving behind but once we release that initial fear and step out in faith we will soon begin to relish in the goodness that's wrapped up in a clean slate.
